Introducing Australia

Australia is definitely one big, beautiful country, and to see it at your own pace, being your own personal tour guide, is a very rewarding experience. Not only is it affordable, it gives you flexibility and the ultimate feeling of freedom. To hook up and go is truly an exciting way to see this vast country of ours.

Our backyard is so diverse. Beaches, deserts, snow, bush and rainforest to name a few. Our backyard suits every interest from fishing, fossicking, birdwatching, diving, bushwalking, photography (the list is endless) to settling into a cold beverage whilst being awed by a magnificent sunset.

Nomading your way around the country has many benefits. Not only do you escape from the doldrums of every day life, you get to meet fellow travellers who are more than happy to share their experiences and offer advice and recommendations on who, what and where.

And before you know it you will be cooking on a fire, catching your own dinner, taking in glorious scenery, watching nature at its best and making friends in every state and territory.

Not a great deal of money is required, nor an expensive setup with all the mod-cons. A reliable vehicle, your preference of BYO accommodation and a destination of choice is all it takes.

We have put this website together hoping not only to inspire first time nomads, but to give you information and ideas to help make your adventures more comfortable and enjoyable. We would also like to encourage your input, as through other travellers experiences, we always learn a little more.
